Boone County TRAINING CLASSES (Held twice a year)
Volunteer Requirements
? All volunteers must be at least 18 years of age.
? All volunteers must complete the 24-hour CERT training. Classes are 8 weeks long. Weds Nights 6pm to 9pm (only one class may be missed)
? Upon completion of the full 24-hour class, participants have the option to become a Citizen Corps CERT volunteer and assist professional emergency services following a disaster.
? All volunteer must complete necessary documentation.
? All volunteers must submit to a background check due to the sensitive nature of our potential assignments
? Enrolling in a CERT course does not obligate you to become a CERT volunteer. *
TRAINING (Weds 6pm ? 9pm for 9wks)
Basic CERT Training Program begins Wednesday September 21st, 2011 @ 6:00 pm at the Belvidere Township Building.

Classes are Wednesday from 6-9pm for 9 weeks.
Final / Disaster Simulation and Testing is Saturday November TBA, 2011.
