I am the secretary of DART and co-site owner and moderator of DART's website.  I love animals, I worked at a no-kill animal sanctuary for 2 years as a  kennel tech, I also assisted in the start-up of another no-kill sanctuary and managed website.  I was concidered the feral cat girl as I love feral cats and would always hold them.  I took home what was considered a feral cat, and he was the best cat.  I lost him, 3 other cats and my dog in June of 2006 when a fire struck my home when I was out of town and all 5 animals died in the fire. 

I now have a 7 year old Pit Bull who is my baby, his name is Kane, I would do anything for him, and other animals.

My home and heart are full with a wonderful husband 2 sons

5 cats 1 dog 1 potbellied pig 2 ferrets 4 rats and 2 turtles.

I Love animals what more can I say. !!!!  They r my Kids. :D

    Years ago I use to work for an indoor zoo in Chicago "Animal Kingdom" in the animal room. I also worked at a horseback riding stable for many summers. as of March 2010 I now own 2 little Chihuahua's a shorthaired Female named "Bunny"  2yrs and a Male Longhaired name "Guppy Tang" 1yr which are very loveable and cute I can not Forget My little "Mea" My half Baby... 7 years Black & Tan Chihuahua she is the one that made me fall in Love with the breed( I recently Lost my GSHP June 09   RIP my Boy  :( .....  Now that was a Dog & I Lost My Doxie in Jan 08 RIP my old lady :(your both togetther in Rainbow bridge again) I also have 3 cats "Mr.tiggs" (M) & "Squirt" (F) brother and sister gray tabby’s both 11yrs.    And then there is "Boo" (M) Pure Black cat 10.5 yrs... These are my babies my 4 legged kids.  I Love animals and I don't like seeing them in any pain or in Harm’s way. That is why I have become a DART member. I have met alot of wonderful new people and have gotten to know some even better And now have a new wonderful family (Boone Co Dart Members) that we have and share a lot in common the Love & joy for animals and helping them in there time of need. and I have also benefited and learned alot from taking the CERTs class and EARS.  If you Love and enjoy helping animals DART is for you. come check us out
